Oneitis is the condition of being stuck on a particular girl... so much so that you no longer bother to go after any other opportunities with women. Who has oneitis? Here's a short list. See if you recognize any of these people:

• The guy who is henpecked by his girlfriend. He isn't really happy, but he isn't unhappy enough to leave the damn relationship, and find someone who's more "right" for him..

• The guy who is SO focused on getting one particular girl to go out with him, or sleep with him. Chances are, he's wanted her for years, and yet she barely knows he exists. He fantasizes about her all the time, and he'd rather spend time imagining him and her together then spend time meeting women who actually want him. (sound familiar?)

• The desperate guy who's girlfriend is constantly out of his reach. She always seems to do those "little things" that drive him insane... like not returning calls, always showing up late, or going out a couple times per week.... without him. Chances are, she's meeting plenty of other guys who aren't so needy, but she doesn't have the courage to just end it, and he suffers
silently... at home alone... while she is hunting for a replacement.

• The guy who desperately wants his female friend to be his lover. He can't even look at other women, because he's so madly in love with this girl who only thinks of him as a pal or a buddy.
